Manager of Partner Operations US States, SLED – Cisco Systems


As MPO for Cisco SLED (State/Local Government and Education Collaboration technologies) business Dan manages a team of business development managers. They drive partner enablement on SLED specific trends and opportunities. Dan and his team help educate partners on how to capture new market opportunities and buying models. These teams align Cisco and partner resources to help change the way we protect, serve and educate our citizens.

Before rejoining Cisco Dan spent 6 years in the Video conferencing industry with Polycom and Tandberg. He was one of the first Channel people at Cisco where he managed the northeast partner organization from 1996-2003.  He spent 13 years in the telecommunications industry with Alltel prior to Cisco.

Dan lives in Longmeadow, MA with his wife of 26 years Lisa. Their daughter, Taylor, is a junior at Boston University.  He enjoys running, golfing, and all outdoor activities.  Dan is involved in the MA Special Olympics,  and has coached Longmeadow youth lacrosse and soccer for 6 years.  He was a member of the Longmeadow School Technology committee, where he helped build a long term technology plan for the town and school district.  He also worked closely with the Longmeadow Education Excellence Foundation (LEEF) where he helped raise funds to support grants throughout the school district.
